The first four of ten commandments directly address our attitude towards God demonstrated by the way we treat others and our parents. But the last six commandments are about betrayal in one form or other. And it is in this regard that the 10 Commandments (like the Military Code of Conduct for example) are more about betrayal than anything else, perhaps because there is nothing more insidious than betrayal. 

"5“Thou shalt not kill.”6“Thou shalt not commit adultery.”7“Thou shalt not steal.”8“Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.”9“Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife.”10“Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s goods.”

Judas betrayed Jesus for a bribe of "thirty pieces of silver" by outing him with "the kiss of Judas" which resulted in Jesus’ crucifixion, but through God’s grace, the redemption of mankind.

Mr. Trump’s mouth drools of the lies and betrayals perpetrated on his opponents and those who dared to tell him the truth. 

They Shalt not Bear False Witness:

Short of harming someone physically, there is probably no more egregious act of betrayal than to blame someone for something you know they didn’t do, such as Donald Trump and the plot he hatched with Vladimir Putin to scapegoat Ukraine for Russia’s meddling in the 2016 US elections. We can add many others. For instance, Ambassador Maria Yovanovitch (Everywhere Marie Yovanovitch went turned bad). On sleepy Joe Biden and Hunter Biden (these are crooked people). On Barack Obama (he was born in Kenya, he's a Muslim and he hates America). We must not forget Trump University, and all those students who thought they were getting primed for success, only to find out they'd been duped. Of Republican Ambassador, Bill Taylor (he’s a Never-Trumper). Of Republican Atty. Gen. Jeff Sessions (he was AWOL, mixed up and confused). On Republican, Bob Mueller, (he’s a Never-Trumper ). On Republican John McCain, (he was very, very bad for our country and bad for health care). Regarding the current US Covid19 pandemic: He said it was a hoax created by his enemies, , after suggesting it was brought here by one man from China. Regarding Charlottesville and the protests against white supremacists, (There were fine people on both sides). Regarding Black Lives Matter protesters (They are terrorists and looters). Asked whether Russia targeted US troops through bounties placed on their heads, he said, “That’s a hoax”. Worst still he refuses to consider the possibility and therefore warn Putin or Russia. By his fawning deference to Putin in all matters large and small, It has become evident Russia has something on Donald Trump. 

Remember that bid to build Trump Tower Moscow, reserving a kickback $50million dollar suite just for Putin. Is it possible that plan is still simmering behind closed doors? Or is it possible Trump is so far in debt he’s turned to Putin to bail him out, and land him a windfall if he gets Russia readmitted into the G-8? (It is known Putin is one of the world’s richest men, with an estimated net worth upwards of $200-billion). But we all know, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. At this rate, and with over 18,000 false or misleading statements as president, Donald Frump really is Master of the Art of Betrayal.
